First off, I have to say I love this series and I hope there is many more to come too. I loved how Emma and Sean pretended to have a relationship and about halfway in, they actually started falling in love with each other. Even though, neither one would admit it.

It all starts when Emma's Grandma is coming home for a month. Emma had pretended to be engaged so her Grandma would stop worrying about her. The only problem was, Emma had never met her fiance. Sean is a cousin to her best friend's husband. So when Sean comes home from the army, Emma knocks at his door and explains the situation to him. She asks him to spend a month pretending to be her fiance. He thinks she is crazy and says no. After thinking it over, he finally does agree to it. Gram realizes at the airport that something is not right with them. Sean's family finds out what he is doing and he has to get them to agree to go along with the whole idea. Gram ends up asking Aunt Mary what is going on and she finds out the truth but they agree to keep going along with the scheme and they end up being matchmakers. Meanwhile, Gram runs into an old friend and ends up falling in love with him. Everything turns out ok at the end. Gram's boyfriend is moving to Florida with her. Sean and Emma finally get engaged for real and get to keep the house.

This was a very good read. I really hope to read more about the Kowalski family.

t’s rare that Sarah from Smart Bitches and Jane from Dear Author agree on a book. Look at the last StC they ran. It was Hot Finish which released on August 3, 2010. So October, November, December, January, February, well, you get the point. While it may seem like they are both pimping the same books, it’s often not the case. For example, Sarah from Smart Bitches had a hard time with Breaking Point by Pamela Clare while Jane loved it. Sarah picked Moira Roger’s Wilder’s Mate as her SB Summer Book Club pick and Jane gave Moira Roger’s short, Sabine and the Beast a D!

To say that their tastes don’t exactly align is an understatement so it is a rare and wondrous thing when they both like a book and they both loved Shannon Stacey’s Yours to Keep. It’s funny, heartwarming, sexy and moving. A straight up contemp that focuses just on the characters. And there’s a how to element in it too. How to use Scrabble to defeat and embarrass others. You’ll want to read that section a few times so that you can employ it against your own fake fiance.

Handy Men was a great read. A very hot book. Pamela wanted the neighbor's handy man to come over and help her with a problem. Somehow screws had gotten in her garbage disposal and broke it. Of course, Jeff knows she's the one that put them in there and why she did it. Later that night he comes back over with his friend Casey to get Pamela a night to remember. Pamela doesn't realize that the guys are in it for the long haul. She just wanted a quick fling to show her ex-husband that she is still hot and can get younger men than him. I think she proved her to point to him double time. lol.

Delilah is a wonderful author and is an auto-buy author. All of her books are great and you can't go wrong with one of her books. For a quick excerpt of the book you can go here to read one.

SWAT Team Two and Miss Robin Hood by Dixie Lynn Dwyer

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I'm so glad the author has another book in this series and I hope there is many more to come. Again, the heroine is very strong and helpful in this book. She steals from drug dealers to help her friends and her family. The heroes are yummy Swats. They notice their mate's scent at a crime scene and they arrest her to find out what she was doing there. Of course, she doesn't stay arrested long, lol. This was a very hot book.

I loved this anthology. All the stories were great. All the authors are some of my fave authors so it was great to read their books in this anthology. A great Christmas read.

Winter Wishes was another great Christmas anthology. It's a paranormal one and I love paranormals. Again, these are some of the best paranormal authors. I love their books. A great read.

This was the first book I read from this author. It was really good. I normally don't read historicals, but I couldn't pass this one up. It's a western historical and I love those and this book was a great one.

Tessa's Pride was a rekindle romance read and I love those. Olivia has some wonderful books and this one was great.

Management skills was a great read. This is a very hot read. This was also the first book I read by the author, but it will not be my last one. Very good.

Dakota Tokala was vacationing with her best friend and her boyfriend. So feeling like a third wheel, Dakota decided to go to Catamount Outfitters to hire a guide for a wilderness excursion. She gets a guide, Axel and his pet cougar, Falke. Falke is actually Axel's twin brother, Gunnar. Both brothers can shift into cougars.

Axel and Gunnar have a rule of paws off for clients, but there is something different about Dakota. They think Dakota could be their mate. During a avalanche, Gunnar has to reveal himself to Dakota to get her to safety. When she realizes there is two men in the shelter with her, she wonders where the other man came from. So they have to tell her about them and Falke.

This was a great read. I really loved the character Falke. In this story he is played by Gunnar but Axel played him once. Falke was just so cute and loveable. I hope the author is considering making this a series since there is the other brothers that need mates. This was a great quick read. If you love paranormals and stories with happy endings, this one is for you.

Beth Hansen met Kevin Kowalski in his bar, Jasper’s Bar & Grill. After that first meeting, she sees him again while tending a bar at his brother's wedding. The next morning she wakes up in his hotel room. She finds out she's pregnant. Beth thinks it's best to tell Kevin. Kevin is ecstatic and wants a relationship with Beth. Beth thinks he's a player and decides it's best to remain friends. Kevin does everything to make Beth realize he loves her and she finally does.

I loved this book. I read the first book in this series and I was hoping to read more from the Kowalskis. They are a wonderful family, so helpful to Beth. Kevin is a very sweet and caring man that wants Beth to love him to. Beth is afraid she will mess up the relationship between her ,Kevin, and their baby. Kevin finally gets her to realize if she doesn't have a relationship with him, it is messed up anyway between them. I hope to read more about this family. I'll be looking for more books by Shannon Stacey. I think I've read all of hers to date and you can't go wrong with her books. All her books are great reads.

I have naturally curly hair and I've had to use straighteners on it to get my hair to do what I want with it. The Corioliss is a great straightener. It heats up enough to do my hair and make it manageable. My hair feels so soft after I use it and my hair usually feels coarse. It won't damage your hair either. It heats from 140 to 410 degrees. I have to use the highest degree on my hair. It heats up in 6 seconds. You can also curl your hair with this straightener. My nieces love to use this straightener too. My hair is usually very frizzy too and the straightener makes it so straight and frizz free. I love it.

The Corioliss comes packaged so pretty. It has a flower on top and a bow. There is candles and flower buds in the box. They even gave me a sachet with hand sanitizer and nail files. Misikko also gives you a pad that you can put the straightener on when you are using and it has a place to store the straightener too.

I'm on team werewolf because they are very alpha. I love reading werewolf books and watching werewolf movies. My fave werewolf movie is An American Werewolf in Paris. I don't have a fave werewolf book cause I love each one I read. I can't get enough of them. Wolves mate for life so you know they won't cheat on you. Vamps turn into bats, who wants to kiss a bat. lol. Wolves can go into the sun and vamps can't.

He opened the door—

And stopped dead in his tracks as somebody all but fell into his arms. Somebody…a woman. And not Theresa.

He caught her just above her elbows, automatically steadying her.

“I’m sorry,” she said, her voice soft and low.

Then she lifted her face and Quinn found himself gazing into the biggest, brownest eyes he’d ever seen in his life. Feeling a little dazed, he studied her face while she stammered out another apology.

Quinn barely heard it.

He was too busy staring at her mouth. A very pretty mouth, a cupid’s bow mouth slicked with deep, vibrant red. Under his hands, he could feel silken smooth skin and unable to resist, he stroked a thumb along her inner arm.

Her skin was soft, soft and warm. He was also pretty sure she had the creamiest, most flawless skin imaginable. Her shoulder-length hair was a shade caught between blonde and brown, nondescript, but for some reason, he found himself thinking about tangling his fingers in that hair and holding her head still while he kissed that red-slicked mouth.

Well, hello…he could all but feet his libido kicking up as he stared at that mouth. Every last one of his senses tuned in on her—

The way she looked…sex and sin.

The way she smelled…sex and sin.

The way she sounded…sex and sin.

The way she felt…the way she might taste. Sex and sin. He knew it without a doubt. She’d taste like sex and sin.

His mouth was all but watering.

“Ahhh…excuse me,” she said, tugging against his light hold.

“Uh…yeah.” He uncurled his fingers and let go, although he hated every second of it.

She immediately backed away, putting a good five feet in between them and eying him nervously. In that moment, he was acutely aware of the fact that he hadn’t bothered shaving that morning, or the morning before. He was also acutely aware of the wrinkled state of his gray T-shirt and the worn jeans he wore. He hadn’t gotten into the habit of wearing the unofficial uniform worn by most of the guys who worked for Gearing, but he’d swapped out the black T-shirt that read Bond Enforcement for a plain one. Wearing those particular shirts outside of work had ended up causing him a headache or two so when he remembered, he changed out of them before leaving the office.

She continued to stare at him, her face expressionless and her eyes measuring. She might have just continued to stare at him indefinitely if Theresa hadn’t come bustling down the hall. “Quinn?”

Tearing his eyes away from the unknown woman, he smiled at his landlord. It no longer seemed so weird to smile at somebody—as in he didn’t worry his face might crack if he wasn’t careful. Still, the smile on his face did feel odd. “Hey, Theresa. I didn’t know you had company.”

She beamed at him. “This isn’t company. This is your new neighbor. She just moved in to the upstairs apartment. Sara…I’d like you to meet Quinn Rafferty. Quinn, this is Sara Davis.”

Sara.

Neighbor.

Staring into Sara’s dark brown eyes, his heart sank just a little. Great.

Some people collected books.

Some people collected knickknacks.

Some people collected coins.

Theresa collected lost souls, as evidenced by the fact that he was living in her basement after she’d charmed him into changing her tire outside Dierburg’s a few months earlier.

The last woman to stay in that apartment had ended up being a battered woman hiding out from her ex. Before that, it had been a girl who’d been all of nineteen, with two kids and a third on the way. When that one had left, she’d ended up stealing from Theresa and skipping out on the piddling amount of rent that Theresa had coming.

If Sara Davis was living in Theresa’s upstairs apartment, that made her pretty much off limits. It didn’t matter that his dormant sex drive was all of sudden flaring up on him.

The last thing Quinn needed to be around was another lost soul, not when he still struggled to find his own.

Hello there! My name is Bree, and I’m one half of the romance-writing, virtual-crime-fighting duo known as Moira Rogers. Ecstasy Island is a place where women can go for sensual healing. The women stay 3 weeks and enjoy every minute of it. From panty parties to volleyball on the beach.

Claire Vaughn's sister signed her up for Ecstasy Island. Claire had a fear of going outside since the incident she had. Chris Cavanaugh was her sensual healer. Chris has to show Claire that what she is missing is life and love. Claire has to overcome her fears and Chris's past to find the love of her life.

Dana Lancer had signed her sister up for Ecstasy Island instead she wakes up to find herself at Ecstasy Island. Not only that but she finds out the owner is her ex-lover Treah. Treah has to convince Dana that she still loves him and would be happier with him than her fiance. A little sabatoage helps Treah to convince Dana to stay with him on the island and to learn that she still loves Treah.

I really enjoyed both of these stories. I like that both stories connected. Escape to Ecstasy was a hot and steamy read. Great read! The characters' were great and so was the story line.
